Droves of family unit and friends said their goodbyes to recently-deceased Hip Hop vocaliser Nate Dogg on Saturday (March 26). Among the attendees were Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, DJ Quik, Warren K, Kurupt, Mack-10 and WC.

"1986, Poly High School, that's where we connected for the get-go time," said Snoop Dogg at the sorrowful gathering. "We didn't know each other, but the music connected us. We built a brotherhood, a friendship."

"Information technology hurts me so much to see this," said Warren G, with whom Nate famously recorded "Regulate." "We been through a whole lot and that was my dog. He stayed down with me from the bottom to the top. I didn't always think I would have to sit at a funeral for 1 of my dogs. All I tin say is that was my friend, me him and Snoop was 213 from the assurance to the walls. The music industry lost an incredible artist."

"He was a loving caring individual," added Snoop. "If you lot heed to his music, he took church building melodies and flipped it with hip-hop. I'm so honored, so happy that you gave me the opportunity, God, to know Nate Dogg. I want to stand here and cry, but I accept to accept the strength for you lot Nate Dogg. Nate Dogg died on March 15 due to complications from multiple strokes.
